EcoCampus Partners
Funded by HEFCE, EcoCampus is a collaborative project between Loreus and Nottingham Trent University, and key partners EAUC and ENCAMS. The project will also be liasing with the Higher Education Environmental Performance Improvement (HEEPI) scheme at an advisory level. Linking with these partners and advisors will ensure best practice that is currently being developed within the sector is drawn into the scheme, adding value to resources already in place.
HEFCE

The Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) distributes public
money for teaching and research to universities and colleges. They also support
the Higher Education Academy's work to identify, share and promote the development
of good practice in sustainable development in the curriculum, in whatever form is appropriate.

Nottingham Trent University

The University is one of the largest providers of higher
education in the country with extensive links with industry,
commerce, and public sector organisations. The College of Science
and Technology has years of experience working on environmental and
sustainable programme in the region and is now spearheading EcoCampus.

Loreus Ltd
|
Providers of the EcoCampus software tools for implementing an EMS,
a comprehensive environmental consultancy service and traditional
and e-training using the latest techniques. Their highly qualified
consultants are experts in the implementation of environmental management
systems in line with standards such as ISO 14001.

EAUC
|
With a membership of 200 Further and Higher Education institutions,
the EAUC is leading the way in integrating sustainability and environmental
management in to the business management of colleges and universities in the UK and further afield.

ENCAMS
|
An environmental charity who campaign directly to the public.
They are best known for their Keep Britain Tidy campaign, which
has been running for over fifty years and were heavily evolved in
the pervious EcoCampus pilot scheme.

HEEPI
|
A project funded under the Leadership, Governance and Management
initiative of the Higher Education Funding Council for England.
The project is based at, and led by, the University of Bradford.
The project steering group includes AUDE, BRE, BUFDG, EAUC, TEC, SCOP and UUK.
