EcoCampus provides users with a central hub of information. The training centre contains a range of resources, including downloadable slides from workshops, news and announcements, frequently asked questions, links to useful resources, software manuals and training courses. It has been designed as the one-stop-shop for all participants' EcoCampus needs.
Training courses
EcoCampus offers participants the opportunity to make use of a number training courses.
EcoCampus for EMS managers
This training course is designed for those who will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the EcoCampus environmental management system. The detailed course explains the EcoCampus programme and how to implement and operate an effective environmental management system.
Carbon management training
Carbon management training will help you to understand the importance of carbon in global warming and how to measure, monitor and report you organisation's carbon footprint for reporting standards such as the Carbon Reduction Commitment Energy Efficiency Scheme (CRCEES).
General awareness training
The training centre gives EMS managers a preview of the general awareness course. This course can be used to provide general environmental training beyond the core members of your institutions' implementation team. EcoCampus can track the use of this course for you and produce training records, helping your institution progress towards the bronze award.
Please be advised that this course is not included as part of the EcoCampus package and there is an extra annual charge for using it. If you are interested in purchasing the licence please contact a member of the EcoCampus team.
